I am glad I was able to observe the bond and pure joy Emily was talking about. It was both abundant and contagious. Too see the glare and glitter in a toddler's eye is probably as crystal clear and valuable as a diamond. Although I took the role of a distant observer (I am usually the active participant but hadn't been feeling well), the glee and unabated love just spread around and enveloped us.
