This party sounds like it was supposed to be more fun for his lil guest than for him! I'm telling you I can't deal w/ planning birthday parties! I did Aidyn's 1st and 3rd year party but after we did his 4th at Scholastic's bookstore -- I decided this was the way to go always! ... You're right, it WAS "supposed" to be his party. Sounds more like the parents party though and how much they could try to impress people instead of making their birthday boy feel special by letting him choose how to have fun. Don't worry about the stains in the loaned clothes... it doesn't sound like they're going to care. A while a go I got really involved into raw food, and I read a lot of things about it and many people that suffered from diseases like yours feeling better after following the diet. There are different kinds of therapies out there like alkaline diet, Hallelujah diet, Gerson's therapy, raw food diet, but they all mainly follow the same path of juicing, lots of greens and raw vegetables. I don't know if you ever tried that but for me it helped to include some of their advices in my life. You can find tons of info on the Internet.
