It’s amazing that just a two hour car ride seems like a million miles away. It is much a “mental vacation” or “mental health day” for the working folks. Everybody deserves a break once in a while. Glad I got blessed enough to be able to share the day myself but more importantly, vicariously with Tyler.

i used to live about 20 mins from Strasburg PA. Every summer one of my nephews would come up to visit for a week at Kamp Kaserman – one of the things we always did was the strasburg railroad. It reminded me of when i was young and my grand mother would take me on special trips. It’s an awesome place!

Sounds like a wonderful day! I'm glad you were able to create those wonderful memories. My boys would love to do something like that too. I'll have to search and see if anything like that ever comes up around Texas. When I was a child we lived in Amish country (in PA) and I loved it there.
